Sifu Chris Everett
Chris is passionate about Tai Chi and the West Gippsland area. She devotes herself to teaching and perfecting her art full time. She has extensive teaching experience having started in 1993. Some of her accomplishments are:
- Master and Senior Instructor with the Golden Lion Academy training under Internationally Accredited Judge and Tai Chi Chief instructor at the Golden Lion, Charles Tsui-Po
- Fourth Degree Master Gold Sash (Golden Lion Academy)
- Gold and Bronze Medallist at the 1st Traditional Wushu Festival in Zhengzhou, China in 2004
- Two Gold Medals a the 2nd Traditional Wushu Festival in Zhengzhou, China in 2006
- Overall Champion in 2003 TCAA Tai Chi competition in the Over 45's Division
- Has undertaken 7 intensive training courses in Beijing
- Trained in Australia with Professor Zhang Guangde learning Dao Yin in 1995
- Trained in Australia With Professor Men learning the Wu Competition Routine in 2006
- Trained with Master Shi Mei Lin in Wellington New Zealand in 2007
- Researched and developed a falls prevention Tai Chi program "Tai Chi for Balance" in conjunction with the Golden Lion Academy and the West Gippsland Healthcare Group
- Author of Yang 40 Workbook published by the Golden Lion Academy
- Film editor of "Dao Yin for General Fitness" DVD
- Accredited coach with the NCAS.
- NCAS accredited Tai Chi judge
Bradley Jarvis
Bradley has been studying Tai Chi since 2004 under Sifu Christine Everett of Golden Lion Academy in Warragul, and she continues to guide Bradley through his Tai Chi training. Some of his accomplishments are:
